If you have a gallery web page your $20 is due now. Please send your check to Kathy Schattleitner. Kathy Pfeufer said that she will accept payment up to the next AQuA meeting on February 16th. If payment isn’t received your web page will be dropped. So don’t miss out on having your beautiful quilts on the website.
Kari Harvey’s “Finishing Class: Techniques and Tips from Start to Finish” will be held on Saturday, May 25, from 9 am to 4:30 pm at the Artist Haven store. The class fee is $45. For further information or to sign up for the class, please contact Kari either at her home phone or via e-mail. She will be sending out a supply list soon. Don’t miss out on this class. Kari is a master at making quilts pristine and show worthy.
The balance of $250 for your Sue Benner class fee is also due at the March 16th meeting. The deposit of $100 was due at the January 19th meeting, so if you haven’t paid, be sure to send your check to Kathy Schattleitner right away. Refunds of your deposit if you decide against taking the class will be granted up until the February 16th meeting. After that date, no refunds will be made. Please check under “Upcoming Workshops” for the supply list.
Angela Kenley’s (the guru of applique) mini-workshop on applique will be held February 16th after the AQuA meeting from 1 to 4 pm at the Ed Bozarth Auto Dealer conference room. Class fee is $15. Please sign up with and send your check to Sue Van Vorhees.
The due date for submissions for the “Main Street-Grand Junction” exhibit has been extended to June rather than May 2013.
The next Steering Committee meeting will be held on February 12th at 11:30 am at the Dream Cafe downtown at 314 Main Street.
As you know AQuA now has it’s own Facebook page thanks to Adam Cochran. Adam will attend our February 16th meeting to explain the ins and outs of the page. If you would like to look at the page right now go to: http.www.facebook.com/TheArtQuiltassociation. If you are a Facebook member, please “like” us and tell all your friends about it. I will be trying to put a link directly on our website that will take you to the Facebook page, but I haven’t figured that out yet.
