Trina has a college degree in Fine Arts, and a thirty year background as a professional seamstress. Her

love for the fiber arts started as a young girl. She learned to crochet at the age of eight. At 14, she

started sewing her own clothing. She owned an upholstery business in Granby, Colorado. Trina was a

member of “Lacewings” Lace group in Wyoming. During this time the group launched a four year project

of reconstructing a pair of Victorian lace curtains for the Moss Mansion in Billings, Montana, and at the

same time she became a Master Doll Maker. Her fascination with color and texture of fabrics shows in

all of her work.  Recently, she has joined AQuA, The Art Quilt Association, in Grand Junction, Colorado

and is looking forward to expanding her textile experience.
