SUMMARY:Retreat 2026
DESCRIPTION:  \nThe 2026 AQuA retreat is March 5\, 6\, and 7 We will meet again at the Chipeta Golf Course\, 222 29 Road\, Grand Junction.   \n“Empowerment” is the theme for the 2026 AQuA retreat\, \n\nThe cost is $30 for the three days\, held 9 am to 5 p.m. each day and the retreat is come and go as you wish.  Payment and the sign up to attend the retreat will be at the February 18 AQuA meeting or contact Jacque Weimer no later than February 28.  \n \nTable service will be provided for all 3 days.  Bring your own snacks and snacks to share.  Also please use a refillable and sealable liquid container…the golf course sells a variety of soft drinks\, ice and water are available.\n \nLunch will be provided on Thursday.  Jacque is planning a buffet of sorts\, but please indicate during signup which will be your choice(s):\n          Baked Potato Bar (with pulled pork option) or Tossed Green Salad & fixings\n          (YOU MAY SELECT EACH ITEM)\nFriday is potluck and Saturday attendees are on their own for lunch or enjoy leftovers.\n \nAfter lunch on Thursday\, Sharon Braunagel will demonstrate how to “Pattern and Paper Piece Weird Things” (Sharon’s chosen title).  A list of supplies will be sent to retreat attendees via email prior to the retreat.\n \nThere will be a “What Was I Thinking Table” AKA “Good Intentions”.  Please keep the items quilt related.  You may sell your own items or mark them free.  \n \nSylvia will be on hand Friday for those wonderful chair massages.\n \nFeel free to contact Jacque regarding the retreat.\n \nEMPOWERMENT:  Take a breath and feel delight in your work\, fill your ‘tank’ with your thoughts and focus. – Valarie Poitier\n\n  Please contact Jacque by email or text if you have any questions or suggestions.
