There is a mix of wonder and delight that comes from a supportive group that encourages one another to try new things. The theme obviously resonated with each artist, as everyone interpreted it by honoring some part of Nature that spoke to them. I loved the variety, from awesome sky images to mushrooms found under a canopy of leaves. The variety of colors and images well represents how we are moved and inspired by Nature.

I have so much respect for artists who continue to push themselves by trying new techniques and learning new skills. Often we have great ideas, and the more techniques we know, the better we can interpret them into amazing works of art. It all comes together when you have a supportive group that encourages members to learn and grow, reaching beyond your former self. Members guide us and inspire us to new heights. Nice to see this happening through AQuA.

Ginny made the following recognitions:

Pick #1 Lynda Stahl “Memoir of a Gentle Giant”

Pick #2 Susan Sanmann “Nature’s Fireworks”

Pick #3 Sharon Braunagel “The Fall Garden”

Pick #4 Mary Grande “Identify Yourself”

Pick #5 Daniela Schupp “Hello Beautiful”

ngg_shortcode_0_placeholder

All Quilt Photos Copyright © by AQuA 2022

Nature Shapes Theme description: The circle, square, rectangle, and triangle are four basic shapes, however we can view these shapes through the prism of the organic laws of nature.
